The Fine Print
There are no provincial restrictions on the use of the land, as long as it is legal.
This means you can grow your own food, run your own business,
and have as many homes as you desire (such as a family compound),
provided you obtain a building permit and adhere to building codes.****If it's on wheels, such as a tiny house or park model home,
you do not need a building permit.
Semi-waterfront Plots of Land
$200,000
These are one-third-acre plots of semi-waterfront land on a steep but usable slope in Celista, directly across the road from Shuswap Lake, with exclusive lake access. For reference, the BC Assessment Authority values the neighbouring 1/3-acre lots at $500k.These are a steal-of-a-deal!With no zoning, you have the freedom to create.
Envision a short-term lakefront rental site
generating additional income, or a peaceful retreat
for yourself and your loved ones.
More Fine Print
Rustler's Ridge Tiny Community is a project in its infancy.Project Phase 1: Acquire a 100-acre property in Celista.
Design it to be divided into nine plots at the property's base
and an off-grid tiny home community,
retreat centre and short-term rental accommodations at the top.Land Use and Regulations: There are no restrictive covenants on the land; however, building permits are required by the regional district.
Mobile dwellings on wheels are exempt from these permits.
All necessary geo-technical and hydro-technical assessments and
permits will be managed by Rustler's Ridge.
About Us
We live in the North Shuswap
(hence the photo from our deck)
and it’s beautiful here. Our goal is to obtain the land,
create a tiny home community, glampsite
and retreat centre at the top of the property.Me? I’m a wife, mum of five, grandma of three (four in November),
and pet-parent to 8 cats and 3 small yappy dogs.Along with my husband, we're working on
creating affordable housing opportunities,
a disease-prevention-focused retreat centre,
and short-term rentals
in the form of Bunkies, Teepees, Hobbit Homes,
and maybe even a Treehouse or two.If this sounds like something you’re interested in learning more about,
let's chat.
